About The Attraction
Ganesh Tok is one of the three prime viewpoints in Gangtok. The place derives its name from the temple of Lord Ganesha situated here. One of the major places of attraction for the tourists in the north-eastern state of Sikkim, the Ganesh Tok is one of the most well known temples in Sikkim. Standing at a height of 6,500 feet, the Ganesh Tok’s main deity is Lord Ganesh, who is one of the gods according to the religion of Hinduism. Like the Hanuman Tok, the Ganesh Tok offers a fascinating view of the surrounding regions. One can get a clear view of Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. The experience at Ganesh Tok viewpoint is a unique one as the place is a small enclosure and only one person can fit in at a time. The enclosure allows you to calm your mind and have your own time in connecting with God. The premises of the Raj Bhavan can also be viewed from this mandir.
