Dubai’s spectacular beaches are, unsurprisingly, among its top attractions for both locals and tourists alike. The city’s enviable position on the edge of the Arabian Gulf provides access to pristine sands, beautiful emerald waters and gorgeous natural beauty. There are plenty of beaches – both public and private – but if you’re looking to really get away from the noise and crowds, and to find a quiet, peaceful and secluded paradise, there is no better place to head for than the wonderful Black Palace Beach.
If you know where to look, you can find Dubai’s secret beach – an intimate bay tucked away on an incredible tract of untouched coastline. You don’t have to travel far – it’s close enough to the city to offer some of the most incredible views of Palm Jumeirah and the Burj Al Arab, but it also delivers blissful peace and tranquillity away from the noise and bustle of the city. Be warned – it’s quite tricky to find Black Palace Beach, and it may take you a couple of attempts to locate the correct turning – a small pathway off Jumeirah Beach Road between the palaces. Of course, if it were not difficult to find it, it would surely be overrun with visitors! You should plan to bring everything you will need – this is an undeveloped beach, and there are no facilities. However, if you’re willing to overcome these minor inconveniences, the rewards are incredible: a beautiful, amazing slice of paradise which easily rivals any of the exclusive, private beaches found elsewhere in the city. This is truly a magical place to escape, relax and enjoy – and certainly well worth a little effort.
From Black Palace Beach you can enjoy a wealth of spectacular scenery – from the magnificence of the iconic Dubai skyline to the sparkling pristine waters of the Arabian Gulf, and the many luxury marine craft which dart about the bay and Palm Jumeirah, ferrying the rich and famous. If you’re lucky and eagle-eyed, you may even spot Sheikh Mohammed's own private yacht from your secluded hideaway lookout on Dubai’s secret, magical beach.
