About The Attraction
One of the most famous tourist spots in Kufri, Indira Tourist Park is situated nearby the Great Himalayan Nature Park in Himachal Pradesh. It is located at a distance of 19 Km from Shimla and 6 Km from Fagu. Many tourists visit here to enjoy pony and yak rides in the park.
For rejuvenation and refreshment, the park includes a beer bar, a video games parlour, and an ice-cream parlour in the Lalit Café that is under the control of HPTDC- Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation. The main attractions of the park are wonderful scenic views with the wonderful source of refreshment lying in the park named Café Lalit under the control of Himachal Tourism Board. History
It is believed that Indira Gandhi visited this region for signing the Shimla Agreement with Pakistan in the year 1972 and since then this region is named as Indira Tourist Park.
