The three beaches of Kovalam-
1. Lighthouse Beach- The largest beach and is situated southernmost. A lighthouse of British era is situated at this beach so the name.
2. Hawah Beach - This is situated in the middle part of beach and famous for calm bay of blue waters. This is in a semi circular shape. It is a place for fun filled family vacations.
3. Samudra beach - Northern most part of the Kovalam beach. This is a quiet beach and ideal for sunbathing and lazing out.

Vizhinjam Rock Cut Cave Temple - This temple has rock cut sculptures of 18th century. Incomplete sculptures of Lord Shiva and Parvathy are major attractions of this temple.
Aruvikkara Dam - Located at ten kilometers from Kovalam, it is one of the famous picnic spots.
